Three teams have had more games postponed because of COVID-19. The Buffalo Sabres, the Minnesota Wild and New Jersey Devils will all remain in lockdown until the NHL determines it is safe for those teams to resume practising and playing.

Meanwhile, things have gone from bad to worse for the Minnesota Wild. According to general manager Bill Guerin, there are players that are currently symptomatic with achiness, and loss of smell and taste. Guerin added that positive test results are popping up one by one, and that he expects more to be discovered in the coming days.

With the outbreak still ongoing, the Wild have scheduled a conference call with the National Hockey League for Monday to discuss how the team will move forward. Guerin mentioned that the team is going to need more time off, and more games postponed. Since making that statement, he got his wish. Since the outbreak began, 9 players and 1 staff member with Minnesota have tested positive for COVID-19.

The Wild haven't played since February 2nd, and sit fifth in the Honda West Division with a record of 6-5-0 through 11 games.

In other COVID related news, the Buffalo Sabres have announced that defenceman Rasmus Dahlin has been placed on the COVID protocol list. Dahlin joins fellow Sabres Taylor Hall, Tobias Rieder, Dylan Cozens, Curtis Lazar, Casey Mittelstadt, Rasmus Ristolainen, Brandon Montour, and Jake McCabe on the protocol list. Head coach Ralph Krueger is also in isolation after testing positive for the virus late last week.

The Sabres haven't played a game since January 31st, and sit 8th in the MassMutual East Division with a record of 4-4-2 through 10 games. The NHL announced several changes to their schedule on Saturday, and if things trend in a positive way for Buffalo, their next game be on Thursday against the Washington Capitals.
