A new insider report has leaked indicating that an All-Star level goaltender could be on the move this week. The report comes with less than a month until the trade deadline.
All-Star Goalie Linked To Major Move By Insider
As the weeks go by trade rumors continue to heat up more and more. This has absolutely been the case for a team out West. The Calgary Flames have already made a major move trading away Elias Lindholm. Now a report from NHL insider Eric Francis says that goaltender Jacob Markstrom is likely next.
While for now, this report remains a bit of a mystery an action taken by Markstrom earlier in the week has made some feel a trade is inevitable.
Markstrom Says His Goodbye To Calgary?
During their most recent home game, Flames goalie Jacob Markstrom turned some heads during warmups.
Markstrom created a story during warmups by giving out pucks to fans for over three minutes. This is something that Markstrom has never done before which caused fans and media to take notice.
Even when he's backed up, I've never seen him do that before, ever.
With Markstrom likely on his way out of Calgary, it will be fun to see what destinations become the favorites as the deadline approaches closer each and every day.
