On Wednesday evening after a meeting was presented with the NHL Player Safety association call regarding Brenden Dillon's illegal hit on Noel Acciari last night, the verdict has been revealed.

Dillon gets a three game suspension

Last night vs the Pittsburgh Penguins, Dillon recieved a match penalty for an illegal and dangerous check to the head of Noel Acciari. Acciari never returned to the game due to the impact of the hit. The NHL Player Safety Association has decided to give the Winnipeg Jets defenceman a three game suspension. Because the hearing was not in person, the maxiumum number of games Dillon could've recieved was five. They met in the middle and now Dillon will be out for the next three Winnipeg Jets games.
More details to come.
