An announcement was made today by the OHL confirming that former 6th-round pick by the Vancouver Canucks Connor Lockhart has been indefinitely suspended by the league. The indefinite suspension comes due to an investigation done by the Durham Police Department.

On February 6, 2024, the Oshawa Generals and the Ontario Hockey League were made aware that one player, Connor Lockhart, is under investigation by Durham Regional Police Service. He has been indefinitely suspended by the team and the League until the matter is resolved.

As of now, there are no further details regarding what Lockhart is being investigated for. Lockhart was drafted by the Canucks but was not signed by the team. He will now put his hockey career on hold as he attends to these legal matters.
