Patrick Kane Suffers the Consequences After Angry Outburst at Official
Patrick Kane is one of the most experienced players in the entire NHL, but that doesn't stop him from snapping at the officials from time to time.
Kane's outburst earned him a minor penalty
During the Detroit Red Wings latest game against the Anaheim Ducks, Kane was embroiled in a scuffle with Ross Johnston, who continually hounded the veteran forward during a shift.
That included following him to the bench and taking Kane out of the play completely, and while it should have been a penalty, the officials seemingly looked the other way.
Kane uncharacteristically snapped at the officials
With no penalty called on the play, Kane had something to say to the officials, and unsurprisingly, they didn't like what he had to say.
That landed him in the box instead of Johnston, and while it certainly was a play that warranted a penalty for the Ducks forward, Kane's reaction instead landed him in the box before the Red Wings would ultimately go on to win.
