A new development by his former teammate and friend hinted at a major turn of events.

Once again, the Bruins are firing on all cylinders this year. They're in a good position to make an impact during the playoffs.
The team's centerline has taken a major hit last summer with Krejci and Bergeron's departures and who would be better than Bergeron to replace Bergeron? That's what believes Brad Marchand, the new team captain.
He's even admitted that he's pushing him to come back this season!
Per TVA Sports:
The Boston Bruins are doing very well without Patrice Bergeron, but Brad Marchand would like to see his old accomplice back on the ice:

"Bergy [Bergeron], I think he's annoyed by how many times I push him to come back to the game. He is excited about what's coming."

The former teammates definitely have a great relationship and it could help Bergeron's decision to come back. The idea of making a push to win one last Stanley Cup could also entice Bergeron.
The Bruins, who are already playing well, being first in their division, and fourth in the NHL with a 23-8-6 record, would be happy to get him back, even for a few months.
Do you think Bergeron will come back this season to help the Bruins?
