Connor Bedard will be quite the success story, as his debut on ESPN drew 1.43 million viewers, topping the Winter Classic's 1.11 million viewers.
While some may see that as a win for the NHL, it proves just how much their marketing needs to improve, and if they can find a way under Gary Bettman to improve, it could mean even bigger audiences for superstars of the future like Bedard.
