With Joseph Woll injured, they now rely mainly on veteran Martin Jones to lead the team.
The Leafs have been involved in a lot of trade rumors for a goaltender, just like the Montreal Canadiens, who have three great goalies activated on their roster.
Friedman shared what the Leafs supposedly offered the Canadiens, and it's bad.
Luke Fox of Sportsnet speculates that Dan Vladar (Flames), Jake Allen (Canadiens), Eric Comrie (Sabres), and Anton Forsberg (Senators) were among the goalies targeted by Toronto.

Lowballing in the NHL never gets you far. Offering a sixth-round pick for a goaltender like Dan Vladar or Jake Allen is simply laughable.
Other teams in the league know about the Leafs' need for a goalie. They're the desperate team here. So desperate that they rely on finding an even more desperate one, who'd trade a goalie for a sixth-round pick.
After this, we can't believe any team would want to trade with the Leafs unless they make it worth their while.
Just look at the Edmonton Oilers: they've tried to get rid of Jack Campbell, and they understand that they need to sweeten the deal if they want to get it done. Treliving will have to do a lot more than offer a sixth-round pick.
