1000 Game Veteran Returns To The NHL In A New Role
Today it was announced that NHL veteran Brad Richards will be returning to the NHL in a new unique role Richards is being hired by the Saint Louis Blues as a consultant. According to reports he will look at the Blues powerplay specifically.
St. Louis GM Doug Armstrong says the team hired Brad Richards as a consultant to look at the team's powerplay, send suggestions.
Richards was known as a highly offensive player scoring over 900 points in his 1000-plus game career. He will now join the new staff after the firing of head coach Craig Berube.
If Richards can get the Blues powerplay back on track look for him to get more opportunities in the coaching and front office space.
