The NHL has been cracking down on the creativity of the goalie helmet designs that are seen in the NHL however one NHL goalie has found a loop hole to counteract Bettman's plans.

Grubauer Finds A Loophole To Screw Bettman Over

The NHL has made it so goalies can not wear specialty helmets such as indigenous themed masks. Goalies like Marc-Andre Fleury have decided to pay the consequences and rebel against the ruling but Grubauer found a loop hole.

Looks like Philipp Grubauer found a way around the NHL's rule on specialty masks.

He'll just wear this one for multiple games. Smart move.

As long as Grubauer wears his helmet for multiple games he is going to be safe from any consequences that Bettman may have in store.

Goalies Finding Ways to Showcase Their Creativity

For years NHL goalies have been showcasing their creativity through their masks however this year the NHL has been limiting the designs that can be used.

It was seen with Logan Thompson when the league denied the use of a cancer ribbon on his helmet. Goalies have fought back with Fleury deliberately using his indigenous helmet in a game after the league threatened to fine the team.

Now you have goalies like Philipp Grubauer finding loopholes in Bettman's rules in order to show their support to the indigenous community.
