Leafs goaltender Joseph Woll had to leave tonight's game early after he suffered an injury late in the game. Sheldon Keefe gave an update on his status after the game.

Keefe: "Woll Will Miss Some Time For Sure"

The Leafs head coach was not very specific about the nature of Woll's injury or the timeline for his return. He did however, state that the goalie would miss time. This means that Woll will likely be out at least week-to-week if not longer.

Sheldon Keefe says Joseph Woll «will miss some time for sure». The extent of which will be known when they get home.

It is now being reported that the team will not know how much time the goaltender will miss until he can be properly evaluated by the team doctors in Toronto. This is likely not good news for the Leafs netminder.

Woll (leg) will miss time, but the Maple Leafs won't know how much until he is evaluated in Toronto, Joshua Kloke of The Athletic reports.

Woll was 8-5-1 with a .915 save percentage and a 2.82 goals-against-average coming into tonight. He was not the goaltender of record as Martin Jones picked up the victory in relief.

Stay tuned for further updates on Woll's status.
