The Boston Bruins have been playing among the best in the NHL but they are now likely to move for a three-time cup champ to establish more of a physical presence.

Maroon Likely To Be Traded To Boston Per Reports

On November 27th, the Boston Bruins fell to the Columbus Blu Jackets 5-2 and head coach Jim Montgomery commented on the loss calling out his team's physicality.
"I think we've just been an easy team to play against." - Jim Montgomery

Since then, the Bruins have gone on to play the Blue Jackets again and handled them relatively easily with a 3-1 victory last Sunday.
While the Bruins got their revenge, Montgomery's point of the Bruins being too easy to play against still stands. They have some physical pieces but the team does not punish their opponents like they did last season.

Maroon Could Be The Perfect Solution For The Bruins

If there is one player who brings physicality every day and knows how to win it is three-time Stanley Cup Champion Pat Maroon.
A recent quote from an NHL executive has emerged revealing the Bruins are strongly considering bringing in Maroon.
I'm starting to hear his name out there.

Maroon could certainly bring what the Bruins are missing and fill in as the perfect piece that balances leadership, physicality, and character. Only time will tell if the Bruins are able to land Maroon but if they can do so, he could put them over the top and help the Bruins to the Stanley Cup.
