This one is just filled with old-school hockey fight respect, and it's great to watch.

Players Punch Each Other Several Times and then Agree to End Fight with a Salute

Mathieu Olivier of the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Philadelphia Flyers' Nick Deslauriers decided to drop the gloves in tonight's game. Neither is any stranger to the rough stuff, with Deslauriers now leading the league in fights for 2023-24 with four.

The great thing about this one is it gets very intense, with both Olivier and Deslauriers landing some big punches. With no end in sight, and both players looking pretty tired, you can see Deslauriers say something to Olivier. Olivier nods, and they both show respect with a hug and helmet taps.

Fight Ends in Awesome Way with Players Saluting Each Other

Deslauriers gets the win here, in my eyes. There's no shame in that for Olivier. Deslauriers has a case as the best fighter in the league right now. That said, it was a great battle from both and a perfect way to end it. I would love to see more of this in the NHL.
