BREAKING: The Worst is Confirmed for Marc Staal

In breaking news, the timeline for Marc Staal's injury has been revealed, and it doesn't look good for the defenseman.

According to Anthony Di Marco on X.com, Marc Staal will be out due to an upper-body injury he received during last night's Flyers-Oilers game.

Staal had 7 minutes in ice time before suffering the injury. He recorded four penalty minutes, two hits and five shot blocks in the game. Now, it appears he will be out until December.

Staal signed a 1-year contract with the Flyers this past offseason worth $1.1 million.
