Josh Bailey has been a mainstay in the NHL since 2008. Now, 15 years and 1057 games later, it appears to be over.

Bailey Loses PTO in Ottawa

After over 1000 games on Long Island, Bailey signed a professional tryout in Ottawa this off-season. His hope to stay in the league, has unfortunately been crushed, however, as he has lost his PTO.

The consensus is clear - the 34-year-old just can't keep up with NHL pace anymore.

It's unfortunate to see Bailey lose his shot, but for such a long-time player, this is most likely not the last we'll see of him.
