One of the top junior coaches in the CHL has been mysteriously suspended.
Constantine Suspended
The WHL has just announced that they have suspended Wenatchee Wild (formerly Winnipeg Ice) coach Kevin Constantine.
The Western Hockey League announced today, Kevin Constantine, Head Coach of the Wenatchee Wild, has been suspended pending an independent investigation into alleged violations of WHL Regulations and Policies.
Constantine has been a coach all over the world from the NHL to Hungary, where he coached more recently.
Constantine was formerly the coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins, San Jose Sharks, and New Jersey Devils.
Former #NHL head coach Kevin Constantine has been suspended after a complaint has been filed about his conduct as coach of the WHL's Wenatchee Wild.
Constantine was set to coach many high-end prospects including three lottery draft picks: Matthew Savoie, Conor Geekie, and Zach Benson.
He is currently not allowed contact with any players as the WHL continues its investigation.
