Ahead of training camp, the Vegas Golden Knights appear to be missing a major piece of their roster.

Lehner Not Listed in Knights Training Camp Roster

Robin Lehner did not play last season as a result of a hip injury that had him placed on LTIR. While there have been fewer and fewer updates on his status, the Golden Knights have indirectly let fans know Lehner's status via their roster announcement for training camp.
No sight of Robin Lehner
This is a strong indication that Lehner will not return for the Knights, as players who are close to making a return will often be listed on camp rosters but just not participate in practice or games.

Knights in an OK Spot For Goaltending Still

Despite this setback for Lehner, the Knights are still in an okay position between the pipes. Their tandem of Logan Thompson and Adin Hill obviously worked out pretty well for them last season, winning them a Stanley Cup. Thompson is on a deal just over the league minimum, which helps in terms of Vegas' salary cap.

The worry is that Thompson won't be able to repeat his successes in his second year in the NHL and that Adin Hill won't be able to take on the pressure if that does occur. However, this is only speculation, and time will tell how the goaltenders can follow up their cup-winning performances.
