This is massive as Friedman has confirmed the number one team for a potential relocation. Salt Lake City is one of the perfect locations for a team relocation as they already have a successful NBA team and an owner who wants a team in Utah.
Salt Lake City is bustling and full of eager sports fans and offers a larger market than anywhere else the Coyotes could play in Arizona. This now puts the pressure on Arizona to find a new city and to find one quickly because if they cannot do so, they will be forced to move to Salt Lake City in one of the most embarrassing fashions imaginable.
