After nearly a year as a free agent, Bruce Boudreau has returned to hockey. He has been hired as a senior advisor of the OHL's Niagara Ice Dogs.

Boudreau Returns to Hockey

After a dramatic stint as head coach of the Vancouver Canucks, Bruce Boudreau has returned to hockey.

This time, however; it's not as a coach. Boudreau has signed on with the OHL's Niagara Ice Dogs as a Senior Advisor.

We are excited to announce the hiring of Jack Adams Award winner, Bruce Boudreau as Senior Advisor!

Welcome to Niagara Bruce🐶

Boudreau made this statement:

«I am very proud, happy and excited to help the Niagara IceDogs in any way I can. The Niagara area will always have a special place in heart. I look forward to one day celebrating a Memorial Cup with the Niagara IceDogs.»

Bruce's son Ben is an assistant coach for the team. Hopefully the familial duo will see a lot of success in Niagara!
