The Penguins have named Doug Wilson as Senior Advisor of Hockey Operations.
In his role, Wilson will provide counsel, opinions, and expertise to hockey operations leadership on all matters including personnel decisions.

Wilson is best known for being the GM who built the San Jose Sharks and was with them for 25 years. He pulled off some massive moves like the trade that brought in prime Joe Thornton and the first Erik Karlsson trade.
Wilson's expertise will go a long way in Pittsburgh and help them build something truly special.
