Phil Kessel has had an incredible career. He has 3 Stanley Cup championships and an NHL record Iron Man Streak. He may now be heading to a familiar city to try and chase another Stanley Cup.

Kessel Raises The Cup Once Again

During the 2023 season Phil Kessel spent the year with the Vegas Golden Knights. He played 82 games keeping his iron man streak alive while tallying 36 points.

With his lack of playing time in the playoffs with Vegas many are wondering what Phil's plans are.

He is reportedly open to ending his iron man streak to continue playing in the NHL. When having his day with the Stanley Cup Phil Kessel returned to familiar stomping grounds making many wonder if he wants a return to an old flame.

A Reunion In Toronto?

Phil Kessel spent six seasons in Toronto with the Maple Leafs. During that time he was the city's biggest star. Now he may return to help the Leafs new generation of stars chase a Stanley Cup. Many fans are also imagining what it would be like for Kessel to return

Kessel played his longest stretch with any one team in Toronto. He clearly enjoys the area and would likely be open to a return. If the Leafs can find a spot for him in the lineup they should absolutely reach out.
