With the stranglehold that the pandemic has on much of the world, but in particular the United States, we have seen our fair share of closures and cancellations over the past 6 months.

COVID-19 has, in many ways, cost us our very way of life - at last temporarily. It has prevented us from being close with our family and our friends, halted birthday celebrations, graduations, concerts, sporting events and even resulted in a mass-closure of businesses, schools and all kinds of amenities. Could Halloween be next on the hit list? According to the Arizona Coyotes, not on their watch!

Per the team's official website and Twitter account, the Coyotes have announced that they will be hosting "Drive Thru Trick-orTreating" at Gila River Arena, the team's home barn.

The event is scheduled to take place on Halloween, albeit earlier in the day, from 10am-12pm, and will feature Yotes defender Jakob Chychrun, who will be joined by other Coyotes' staff, adorned in costumes and going car-to-car, handing out treat bags along the way.

Given the NHL's intense focus on maintaining a safe and sanitary environment, fans can be certain that the organization will be taking all the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of all attendees who wish to take part in the family-friendly event.

In a time where nothing is normal, you really have to hand it to the Yotes for re-introducing a little bit of normalcy into a society that has endured much fear, anxiety and heartache thus far during 2020. Class move, all the way.
