Coyotes starting goalie Karel Vejmelka has some choice words for his team.
Vejmelka's Success In The Desert
Karel Vejmelka is one of the most underrated goaltenders in the NHL. Despite his 18-24-6 record last year and his sub-par stats, he saved many games for the weak Coyotes team.
In international play last year with Team Czechia, Vejmelka played 6 games posting a 2.18 GAA and a .927 sv% which was much stronger than his stats with the Coyotes.
Vejmelka Speaks Out
Vejmelka has voiced his displeasure of playing in a college arena recently which has left many surprised.
"I don't think a single game was sold out this year. It was mostly away fans too. The prices are stupid, $160 for the cheapest seat in a tiny university arena" - Karel Vejmelka
Being the starter for the Coyotes until 2025 with a salary of $2.725 million per season, Vejmelka may be potentially demanding a trade from Arizona if their fortunes do not change in the near future.
