Vegas Police Save Lives By Stopping Major Threat

The Stanley Cup finals made many headlines last night and was a night to remember for so many Vegas citizens for all of the right reasons. However, one man was intending on causing as much harm as possible.

«Just before noon on Tuesday, police responded to a Las Vegas business for a report of a person, later identified as Matthew DeSavio, 33, who was threatening a mass shooting at the Stanley Cup Final, documents said.

The person who called the police told officers that DeSavio had stalked them for about a decade, officers said. DeSavio later showed up to the business where officers arrested him, according to documents obtained by KLAS Wednesday.»

DeSavio was posting threats to his social media claiming he wanted to massacre T-Mobile Arena.

Two of DeSavio's threats are as follows:

«I'm coming for you guys tonight and I hope you get every [expletive] police officer in Vegas Golden Knights there to defend you!»

«Hope Sin City is ready for the Mandalay Bay massacre part duex [sic].»

The Mandalay Bay shooting that occurred in 2017 had a man shoot over 1,000 rounds, killing 60 and wounding over 400 others.

Thankfully, Las Vegas PD was able to respond before anybody was hurt and everybody remained safe. Due to the heroes in LVPD, last night was memorable for all of the right reasons.
