New Philadelphia Flyers General Manager Danny Briere has wasted no time culling the fat off of his organizational roster.

According to Frank Seravalli, the Flyers did not issue qualifying offers Kieffer Bellow, Wyatte Wylie and Evan Barratt.
The Flyers also tolled the contract of Russian Goalie Ivan Fedotov.

Who are these Players?

Some of these players like Wylie and Barratt served as organizational depth, with the players having spent last year at the AHL and ECHL respectively.
Bellows and Fedotov are a more interesting however.
Kieffer Bellows is a former first-round pick, having being selected 19th overall in the 2016 Draft by the New York Islanders.
Bellows was claimed off of waivers by the Flyers in October of 2022, after spending parts of four seasons on Long Island.
Bellows tallied three goals in 27 games with the Flyers last year, and it remains to be seen if he latches on with another NHL team or takes his talents to Europe.
Ivan Fedotov is a fascinating story, with his planned NHL debut being delayed last year by his forced detainment into the Russian Army.
Fedotov was scheduled to begin his North American career, when on July 1st 2022 he was arrested in Russia amidst draft evasion charges.
He was unable to play goal this past year as he was a part of the Russian military.
By "tolling" his contract the Flyers will be able to pause his contract until Fedotov is able to arrive in North America.
