The United States and Latvia competed earlier today for the bronze medal at the Ice Hockey World Championship.
Latvia Makes History at the World Championship
In a surprising turn of events, the Latvians won in overtime to earn the first hockey medal in their history.
Kristians Rubins, a former Leafs player, scored the winning goal.
