Kyle Dubas may have been a General Manager in the NHL for only five years, but his work proves that he's more than qualified for the job. He's able to make tough decisions and takes risks when needed.

Whatever is next for Dubas will be bright. If he decides to return to the NHL, he'll be able to turn a team around and achieve success.

In fact, he may get the opportunity sooner than later, as a team has shown interest in him.

Dubas in Pittsburgh?

Chris Johnston reported that the Pittsburgh Penguins have approached Kyle Dubas to fill their GM position.

Ever since he met with Sidney Crosby in the last few days, rumors have been multiplying.

"I've heard from people not directly involved that it's about 98% certain that Dubas will be taking a job in Pittsburgh. I don't know if I can place my own percentage quite that high, but it seems like things are trending in that direction."

The Penguins didn't qualify for the playoffs last year, a first since 2006. Rebuilding may not be the solution there, but Dubas clearly has what it takes to get the organization back on the winning track.
