The Montreal Canadiens continue to search for an adequate successor to Carey Price, the goaltender with the most wins in Habs history. Price has been on long-term injured reserve since the conclusion of the 2021 Stanley Cup final.

After playing only three games in 2022 and none this season, speculation has been swirling about Price's future plans. There have been numerous rumors suggesting that Price might take on a new role as the Habs' goaltending coach.

Carey Price Returns

However, recent news reveals that Price has made a return to Hockey Canada. He is currently assisting his former Habs teammate and goaltender, Samuel Montembeault, in preparation for the World Championships, with hopes of leading Canada to a gold medal victory.
