The Flyers have not been performing well over the past few seasons. The team has been unable to compete with the top contenders in the NHL, and no significant changes were made to assist the players.

However, this changed a couple of weeks ago when Daniel Brière became the interim GM for the team.

A significant development has occurred that might help the Flyers get back on track.

Major Update for the Future of the Philadelphia Flyers

Elliotte Friedman has reported that the Flyers will announce tomorrow morning that Keith Jones will be appointed as the President of Hockey Operations, and Daniel Brière will officially become the GM.

"Hearing that tomorrow morning, PHI will announce Keith Jones as President of Hockey Operations and officially remove the 'interim' tag from Daniel Briere's GM role. Jones played 491 NHL games, the final 131 with the Flyers."

This could be the change that Philadelphia needs to get back on the path to success.
