Anze Kopitar doesn't want to go anywhere.

David Pagnotta, an NHL Network analyst, tweeted:
«Kopitar has 1 more year left in his contract. Could see a two-year extension happen here once they get down to business.»

Kopitar was drafted by the LA Kings 11th overall in the 2005 NHL Draft. The 36 year old is one of the few current players who has played for one franchise their entire career.

Playoff Exit

The LA Kings were upset by the Edmonton Oilers in the first round of this year's Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The team's captain has 393 goals and 748 assists in 1,292 games with LA. He was also a member of the Kings' only two Stanley Cup winning teams.
