With the Boston Bruins currently enjoying a 3-1 lead in their first round series against the Florida Panthers, doing without major names like Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci might not seem so bad. Bergeron has yet to take part in the post season after a late regular season injury. Krejci has not played since game two of the series. That said, Bruins coach Jim Montgomery made it clear today that if either, or both of them get the go ahead for game five, they're going in.

"If they and the doctors say they're able to play, they're playing. You don't take chances in the playoffs. You don't wait to know if he's going to get another eight days of rest."

"If he's healthy, and we know what the situation is, if he gets the green light, he's playing on Wednesday night."

Bergeron did not travel with the team to Florida, but Montgomery insists it's a real possibility that he suits up for game 5 back in Boston. That's a much more positive update than we've been getting since the playoffs began, when Montgomery and the rest of the team remained really vague on the possibility of Bergeron getting into the lineup.
