Shocking Video of NHL Coach's Arrest is Made Public
It was reported a while back that the assistant coach of the New Jersey Devils Andrew Brunette, was arrested for drunk driving. The video has now been made public, and what you see in the footage is rather pathetic.
Brunette Threatens Cops While Being Detained
During the NHL All-Star Break this season, reports began to circulate that Devils assistant coach Andrew Brunette was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol. The footage of the incident has finally been released for the public to see, and fans have every right to be upset with their coach.
During the video you see authorities pull over Brunette and his wife, who were driving a golf cart, for running a stop sign. It becomes clear to the officers that Brunette is under the influence, and when he fails to provide them with his ID, they arrest him.
During the arrest, Brunette threatens the arresting officers by stating his status as an NHL coach, and even declares «you fight me, you're gonna regret it,». Obviously that didn't stop the officers, who detained Brunette and brought him into their station.
This video is just a flat out disgrace to the league, and Brunette should be ashamed of his behavior.
