The playoffs are finally here, but the Presidents Trophy winning Boston Bruins may be in a heap of trouble. As they get set to face the Florida Panthers in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, an unfortunate circumstance may change everything!

Illness Bug Hits Boston Hard

Boston's head coach Jim Montgomery met with the media to discuss his team's preparation for their upcoming match-up versus Florida. It was during this media availability that Montgomery revealed that Boston has been hit with a serious illness bug, and several players are unavailable.
This is terrible news for the first place Bruins, who had hoped they could coast to an easy victory against Florida. It appears as though they may have to try a little harder now if they hope to win.
