Very rarely do we see rookies call out veterans of the league, especially ones with such a reputation as Ryan Reaves. It's very hard to establish yourself in the NHL, and making enemies with one of the most feared fighters isn't generally a good idea.

Faber Calls Out Reaves For Being a Fake Tough Guy

As the Minnesota Wild have their season come to and end and begin preparation for a playoff run, the players met with media to share their thoughts. Rookie defenseman Brock Faber, who just joined the team from the NCAA, was asked his thoughts on the locker room, which he appears to be meshing well with.
The blue liner had some interesting comments for his new teammate Ryan Reaves, claiming that the enforcer is a «fake tough guy».
"Yeah he's not that scary though... fake tough guy," - Brock Faber

Unfortunately for Faber, Reaves overheard the comment and had a chirp of his own variety for the rookie.
"You better hope I re-sign here," - Ryan Reaves
Clearly Reaves doesn't take kindly to his reputation being questioned, and won't hesitate to prove it if he ever ends up on the opposite end of the ice from Faber. Whether or not the comment was made in a joking manner or not is up to speculation, but Reaves certainly knows how to attract attention!
