Shane Wright has had one of the most interesting years as a player, having played in 3 leagues, with his junior season finally over, albeit, a little bit earlier than most wanted, the Seattle Kraken have decided what's next for the 19 year old forward.

According to NHL writer John Shannon, the have sent Wright down to the AHL for the remainder of the season where he'll play for the Coachella Valley Firebirds

Wright has played almost everywhere this season, 8 games in the NHL, 5 games in the AHL, the World Juniors where he won gold in 7 games and 20 games in the OHL

After having a tough season early on where he barely played due to circumstances that were out of his control, it looks like the Kraken are finally doing the right thing for his development.
