Carey Price turns to his Instagram account to ask fans for help
Carey Price is easily one of the best goaltenders of this generation. Off the ice Price is also known as a very involved member of the NHL locker room and as someone that gives back whenever possible.
This week Carey and his wife Angela met with a young fan battling health issues at the Montreal Children's Hospital. Price took to his Instagram account to help try and raise funds to assist the family with their medical and travel costs.
"I don't ask for this very often or unnecessarily. We met Augusto at Montreal's Children Hospital. The family is desperate to return to Argentina for medical treatment. Thank you for considering lending a hand. The link is in my story. Thank you." -Carey Price

While most of the feedback to this post was positive, some fans criticized Price for asking the fan base to financially support a family that he'd be more than capable of supporting himself. Either way this is just another example of Price giving back whenever possible.
