Adult league or 'beer league' hockey can be a wild place.

Grown men who all have to work the following day strap 'em up and go full-tilt in the name of sport. Sometimes things get out of control and a fight(s) breaks out.
What else is one supposed to do when the other team is taking liberties with your guys? You can go to the officials and tell them to watch, but if they won't it's best to just take matters into one's own hands.

@hockey2hellandback Pardon my French but I'm a different person on the ice, especially if someone does something to my teammates. It's only senior hockey, but after almost 10 years without players that fire is still in there! I used to fight all the time when I played, I don't encourage it but I do believe it has a place in the game. There is something delectably cavalier about throwing hands in glorified Rec League that only hockey players will appreciate. It's wildly irresponsible at the end of the day but makes for great content.
Cheers, mate.
