The Chicago Blackhawks are set to play their first game on Tuesday since the passing of franchise legend Bobby Hull and on Monday, CEO Danny Wirtz revealed plans to honour the Hockey Hall of Famer.

Wirtz said that the Blackhawks will have a moment of silence and video tribute to recognize his on-ice contributions to the organization. Mark Lazerus of The Athletic says that it doesn't sound like the team will wear a patch on their jersey or have his number painted on the ice at the United Center.

Hull passed away on January 30th at the age of 84. The Pointe Anne (Ontario) native spent 16 seasons in the National Hockey League, 15 with the Blackhawks and one split between the Winnipeg Jets and Hartford Whalers after they joined from the WHA.

'The Golden Jet' had 1,170 points (610 goals, 560 assists) in 1,063 career games in the NHL. He won the Stanley Cup in 1961 and took home several individual awards throughout his career, including three Art Ross Trophies and two Hart Trophies.

Given that Hull is one of, if not the, greatest players in the history of the Chicago Blackhawks, should the organization do more to honour him or should they limit what they do because of his off-ice issues? Have your say in the poll below?
