We're officially less than one month away from the National Hockey League's trade deadline and plenty of dominoes are expected to fall between now and March 3rd at 3 p.m. ET.

One of the name's that could be in play, if he wishes, is Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane, who's set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1st.
According to Blackhawks reporter Mario Tirabassi, Kane's agent Pat Brisson has informed him that some teams have shown interest in his acquiring his services for, potentially, a deep playoff run. But, Kane is still undecided on his future, as the weeks wind down before the trade deadline.
"Patrick Kane says his agent has come to him with some teams that have shown interest in trading for him but that he is still undecided about what to do for his future." Tirabassi said in a tweet on Monday.

David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period went on to add that two teams that have expressed interest in Patrick Kane are the Central Division-leading Dallas Stars and the New York Rangers.
As the Blackhawks' rebuild continues, Kane is facing down the possibility of wearing another jersey than the one he's donned for the last 16 years. Whether that will be via trade before March 3rd or in free agency in July, his time as a Blackhawk is coming to a close.
Three Stanley Cups later, Kane is one of the best players in Blackhawks franchise history and still at 34-year-old brings a lot to a team and anyone who acquires him before the trade deadline or in the summer, is getting a player who can still produce and can certainly help a team chase down their goal of hoisting the Stanley Cup.
In 45 games this season, the Buffalo native has 34 points (nine goals, 23 assists), ten penalty minutes and is a minus-26.
