The Arizona Coyotes are currently the third-worst team in the Western Conference with a record of 13-23-5 through 41 games, as of 10:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night.

There's no doubt that the organization is likely to get a top-ten, if not top-five or top-three pick in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft and the team is beginning to explore the possibility of moving out some pieces on their roster.

Jakob Chychrun's name has been in the rumour mill for well over a year now, but one name to keep an eye on leading up to the trade deadline on March 3rd is goaltender Karel Vejmelka. The Coyotes are reportedly willing to trade the 26-year-old if the deal is right.

"If the deal is right, it sounds like the Arizona Coyotes would part with netminder Karel Vejmelka. Having a wonderful season, at a very cost-controlled two-year, $2.7 million contract. That would be a good one for teams." Jeff Marek said on Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday night.

Vejmelka, a native of Trebic (Czechia), has appeared in 32 games for the Coyotes this season and has a record of 11-15-4 with a 3.38 GAA, a .902 save percentage and two shutouts.
