Jaromir Jagr Continues Torrid Scoring Pace at the Ripe Old Age of 50
Jaromir Jagr has gone from an NHL icon to everyone's favorite Player-President-Owner in his hometown of Kladno, Czech Republic. Now 50 years old, Jagr has played in five games this season, and after a multi-point performance in Wednesday's 4-3 win over Trinec.
That makes five assists in five games for the 50-year old wonder. It's fair to say Jagre isn't as mobile as he may have once been, but the hands and the IQ never go away. Plus, Jagr's devotion to personal fitness is legendary.
It also pays to own the team for which he plays. Hard for the coach to bench his boss.
