The National Hockey League's holiday roster freeze ended at midnight, meaning teams could make trades and place players on waivers starting today.

According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, Andreas Johnsson (New Jersey) and Max Willman (Philadelphia) have been placed on the waiver wire for December 28th.

Johnsson, 28, has only appeared in two games for the Devils this season and has failed to record any points, penalty minutes and has an even-rating. He's spent the majority of the season in the American Hockey League with Utica where he's put up 13 points in 12 games.

Willman, 27, has split time between the Flyers and their AHL affiliate, Lehigh Valley. In nine games with Philadelphia, he has no points, meanwhile in 11 games with Lehigh Valley, Willman has four points.
