Germany comes into the 2023 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship looking to improve on their sixth-place finish at August's tournament.
When looking at the groups for this year's tournament, Germany will more than likely be in a battle for the fourth and final quarter-final spot in Group A with Austria. Germany will face Austria on December 30th, a game that will probably decide who makes the quarter-final, while the other will face the fifth-place team in Group B in the best-of-three relegation series.
Let's take a look at Germany's final 23-man roster for the 2023 World Juniors!
Goaltenders (3) Rihards Babulis Nikita Quapp Simon Wolf
Defencemen (7) Rayan Bettahar Philipp Bidoul Nils Elten Adrian Klein Phillip Sinn Leon van der Linde Julian Waser
Forwards (13) Quirin Bader Ryan Del Monte Luca Hauf Nikolaus Heigl Thomas Heigl Eric Hordler Roman Kechter Philipp Krening Julian Lutz Veit Oswald Yannick Proske Bennet Rossmy Robin van Calster
