The Canadian Hockey League announced on Monday the 40 players that will participate at the upcoming CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Langley (British Columbia) in mid-January.
2023 projected first overall pick Connor Bedard headlines the list. The 17-year-old is having a very strong season as captain of the Regina Pats in the Western Hockey League.
Before leaving for Canada's World Junior Selection Camp, the North Vancouver native appeared in 28 games, recording 64 points (27 goals, 37 assists), 36 penalty minutes and is a plus-14.
Let's take a look at the 40 players that will look to impress scouts and climb the NHL Central Scouting draft rankings. The 40 players were identified following a survey of the NHL's 32 teams, the Canadian Hockey League said.
The 40 players will be split into two teams of 20 at a later date. Limited tickets are still available for the game, which is set to be played on January 25th.
