According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Tampa Bay Lightning have placed defenceman Philippe Myers on waivers for the purpose of sending him to Syracuse of the American Hockey League.

Myers, 25, has appeared in 11 games for the Lightning this season where he's recorded three points (one goal, two assists), four penalty minutes and has an even-rating.

The Moncton (New Brunswick) native was traded to the Lightning on July 3rd, along with Grant Mismash from the Nashville Predators in exchange for two-time Stanley Cup champion, Ryan McDonagh.

Friedman also revealed that Philadelphia Flyers forward Kieffer Bellows has cleared waivers and will be assigned to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in the American Hockey League.
