According to TSN's Chris Johnston, the Minnesota Wild have placed 2016 tenth overall pick Tyson Jost on waivers.

Jost, 24, was traded from the Colorado Avalanche to Minnesota Wild on March 15th last season in exchange for Nico Sturm.

The St. Albert (Alberta) native has appeared in 12 games this season for the Wild, recording three assists, 11 penalty minutes and is a minus-four.

In other waivers related news, Johnston added that San Jose Sharks defenceman Scott Harrington has cleared and has been assigned to the San Jose Barracuda of the American Hockey League.
