In the Islanders' 5-2 win over the St. Louis Blues, goalie Jordan Binnington's frustrations really showed - as they so often do. Heading into their respective locker rooms between the second period, Binnington and Islanders center Brock Nelson exchanged words, as visitors led 4-1.

In response, Binnington left Nelson's presence and headed straight for Ilya Sorokin, giving him a shoulder bump. Whether he aims to get in his opponent's head or just blow off steam or whatever, Binnington has made antics like these the norm for him.
The Blues' netminder pitched a .862 SV% stopping 25 out of 29. The Blues played a good-not-great game but absolutely could have benefitted from timely goaltending. Binnington, once again, did not provide what the Blues needed and the team lost their sixth in a row, further entrenching their dead-last position, shared only with the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Vancouver Canucks, who play the Ducks tonight.
Maybe Binnington believes, in some way, by brushing shoulders with Sorokin that he will absorb some of the Russian's talents. Because we all know he could use Ilya's magic.
Could Craig Berube's time in St. Louis be coming to an end?
