Despite the Calgary Flames solid 5-3-0 start to the season, newcomer Jonathan Huberdeau has struggled to produce thus far. Those struggles continued against the Seattle Kraken on Tuesday night, and his head coach in Darryl Sutter is growing tired of it.

The Flames lost a very winnable game to the Kraken by a final of 5-4. There were several parts of their game that deserved to be criticized, but the fact of the matter is that Huberdeau was held pointless once again. The 29-year-old has just five points through his first eight games as a Flame, only one of which has come at even strength. Speaking with media afterwards, Sutter didn't mince his words when asked about the star forwards season thus far.

"Jonathan has gotta speed up his game, that's for sure", Sutter said.

While it certainly hasn't been an ideal start, however, there still shouldn't be a ton to worry about for Flames fans just yet. As far as Sutter goes, he has never been shy to voice his opinion of his players to the media. As for Huberdeau, he is still getting used to his new surroundings after having spent the first 10 seasons of his career with the Florida Panthers. Things should get clicking for him sooner than later.
