I have no idea why the number of fan-fights has gone up (or if that is even the case, statistically), but I have a hunch that the general state of the world has people on edge. Simple as that.

Now, this video has to be a couple weeks old, as it was during the Canucks-Oilers game on Wednesday October 12, but it has just now surfaced, making the rounds on Twitter.
Fan #1 can be seen verbally assaulting a pair of fans one row up from him, we will refer to them as Fans #2 and #3. Fan #1 starts the physical stuff when he rips off Fan #2's hat and chucks it. When #2 stands up, #1 wasted no time, grabbed #2 by the collar, slammed him down and just started teeing off on #2. Clear sucker move.
But my biggest gripe in this whole thing is: what the hell is Fan #3 doing? His comrade gets ragdolled down three rows of seats and unloaded on, and #3 lets off the WEAKEST series of punches I have ever seen. Go back and rewatch if you did not notice at first.
It was absolutely pathetic, and dropping that guy as a friend would be the first order of business when I got out of the hospital. Even if I wasn't hurt, enjoy the 'medical' bills, you dirtbag (Fan #1).
