After exactly 700 regular season games in the NHL, veteran Tyler Ennis is moving on. Ennis has signed a contract until the end of the season with SC Bern of the Swiss National League.

Ennis played with the Ottawa Senators last season, his second stint with the Sens after playing there in 2019-20. He was drafted in the first round, 26th overall, by Buffalo in 2008. After eight seasons there, he moved on to Minnesota, Toronto, Ottawa, Edmonton, and then Ottawa again.
Ennis has collected 346 points (144G, 202A) over his 700 regular season games. He's also played another 24 in the playoffs, collecting 4 goals and 8 assists. According to reports out of Switzerland, SC Bern pursued Ennis after an injury to fellow former NHLer Dominik Kahun. Kahun was acting as the team's number one centre until hurting his shoulder in a game on Saturday. He could miss up to two months of action.
